Aboard ADVANTAGE CHARTER

ADVANTAGE CHARTER has been established in 1991, and since then the experience of our skippers have just grown annually.

ADVANTAGE CHARTER is a 32ft Yeld Cat, fitted with 2 x 250HP Suzuki motors, and equipped with all the necessary rods, reels ,bait,outriggers,fighting chair ( for marlin charters) for your day on the ocean to catch THAT BIG ONE!

MARLIN CHARTERS can be arranged at a rate of R5200-00 for the boat for the day, we will be equipping the boat with the fighting chair, marlin outriggers and marlin tackle.
Deep Sea Fishing trips depart just after sunrise , the tour is about 6-7 hours long , and the boat is also equipped with the latest GPS and Fish finders to find the ledges and reefs where your trophy fish might be waiting for you.

ALL equipment is supplied; you bring your own soft drinks, a boat lunch pack, sun block lotion and plastic bags to put your catch in.

WHAT YOU CATCH IS YOURS TO KEEP! We do however recommend  Catch and Release!

For the last 4 years Berno has been doing most of the fishing charters, so that Danie can have his attention on the whale watching, but Berno is just as good a fishermen as Danie, if not more, and his enthusiasm is the one good quality that our customers acknowledge, as they always know he tries his utmost to make your day enjoyable.
Before coming to St Lucia make sure to get a fishing license from your nearest Post Office or Parks Board, this license is valid for all catches throughout South Africa at any beach, lake, river or estuary for 1 year.

IF your deep sea fishing trip gets cancelled by us, due to bad weather conditions, you will get a full refund. Your safety is our utmost concern, and we won’t be operating in unsafe conditions.

No bookings will be confirmed however unless we have full payment, as with the fuel increases and regular no-shows we unfortunately have to be strict on pre-payment.
The boat can take a maximum of 8 anglers, for Marlin fishing we suggest a maximum of 5 anglers.
