Dear Lieve

It's peak whale watching season in St Lucia at the moment! Our sightings is awesome and no day goes past without us having excellent video footage.

Whatever you do from the moment you meet at the office, getting to the beach, onto the boat, the 2 hours on the boat…- you are on camera - we make a personalized video and you can purchase this dvd from the WHALE OFFICE about an hour after your return from the ocean - we also add extra good footage from other trips, as well as Hippo & Croc footage as most people also do the Hippo Croc Boat Cruise with us .

The tours are very popular, so best to book and pay ahead of time, we can only take 10passengers on each tour and it is on a first-come-first-serve basis.

We operate 7days a week as long as we have good weather and ocean conditions - we've been blessed this month with only about 4days that we had to cancel tours due to bad weather.

The 2008 whale watching rate is R700-00p.p….you're on the ocean for 2 hours, but the entire trip is 3 hours long, as there is a 30minute journey by 4 x 4 truck along the beach to get to-and-from the launch site before and after the whale watching - from end of May till about the 10th of December you will definitely see HUMPBACK whales - if you have NOT seen a whale after 2 hours on the ocean, you get a 40% refund, as the tour then automatically becomes the 2hour Ocean Adventure for Dolphins and Marine Mammals.

It's best to dress warm around the top chest part of your body, have pants that you can roll up, and shoes that you don't mind getting wet - bring along a towel, bottle of water, small fruit juice, packet of sweet biscuits, and tissues.

We supply you with additional raincoats and off course the compulsory life jackets.

Any electronic equipment best to leave at home, no jewelry, don't bother to put make-up or even comb your hair, as it's going to be an adventurous 2hours on the ocean with possible sea spray splashes. The company is fully insured and has all the necessary permits /licenses /concessions from the various authorities, however you will be asked to sign an indemnity as it remains your own risk when you go on an ocean adventure.

If you do secure your seat via e-mail, we will ask you for your credit card details - we only accept Visa and Master Cards - we will need your card number, expiry date and the last 3 digits on the back of the card - you can either send those details via 2 or 3 different e-mails or fax to our office, it is only me and Joey working in the office, so one of us will receive your details. Please note that no last minute cancellations will be accepted whatsoever at all, so if you have to cancel please do so at least 3 days before your trip, IN the event of you confirming your seat, and us keeping your seat until the hour of departure and you don't pitch, you will be held liable to pay the full amount and we will debit your card, so please make 100% sure to confirm and arrive. -

The first trip for the day departs at 06h30, and then thereafter there will be a trip departing every 2nd hour, AS LONG AS we have enough demand - we fill one boat at a time, as with the enormous fuel increases we can't do half-full trips, so as soon as the first trip is full, the 2nd, 3rd and 4th will be filled. As long as the weather and ocean conditions remains beautiful for the day we will keep on operating as the whales don't disappear no-where throughout the day, you will see whales on each and every trip.

Please do yourself the favor and read our web page thoroughly. Please do keep in touch if you have any more questions, we'll gladly assist.
