St Lucia still remains one of the Prime Tourist Destinations , from where you can view the BIG 6 (Big 5 + whales), within a hour radius from one another and experience the beauty and serenity of the St Lucia Estuarine System. We offer HIPPO and CROC cruises on the St Lucia Estuary, aboard our passenger ferry ADVANTAGE CRUISER, and boast having the only female DTR registered skipper in St Lucia, owner/manager Riëtte Bennett, who, with her knowledge will make this 2 hour cruise a memorable time !!
There are over 800 Hippo's and roughly 2000 Nile Crocodiles in the estuarine system, various Kingfisher, Fish eagle and other prolific bird life . You may occasionally see other game at the water's edge.
On certain days Riëtte might not be available to do the actual trip, then you will be well entertained by either Dave or Berno , the relief skipper's, who in their own right have lots of knowledge about the St Lucia Estuary and what she has to offer , and will give you and your precious clientele an educational background of all 5 eco-systems. The boat consists of an upper and lower deck, toilet, cash bar & tea/coffee facilities, P A system, comfortable upholstered seats and ample walking space for the avid photographer.

We are flexible in changing our departure times according to your schedule if
it need be, and it is at all possible from our side. ADVANTAGE CRUISER is ideal for large tour groups, Christmas and Year End luncheons, parties, team building, etc, though these should be booked well ahead of time.
ADVANTAGE CRUISER hippo and croc tours run throughout the year, 7 days a week. THEN, from JUNE - NOVEMBER there is the WHALE WATCHING !!!!

We hold a LEGAL PERMIT for BBWW (Boat Based Whale Watching) currently in the Elephant Coast .
We need about 3 hours of your time, of which the actual tour duration is approximately 2 hours, and to get to and from the launch site half an hour either side.
During these 2 hours you will have an up-close-and-personal encounter with the world's 5th largest mammal, THE HUMPBACK WHALE, each weighing in at anything up to 40 ton!! You may be fortunate enough to witness a mother feeding her newborn calf, or a male breaching ,lifting that gigantic body right out of the ocean a mere 50 meter away from the boat , or maybe just swimming alongside the vessel.
SHARING TIME WITH THESE HUGE PLAYFUL GENTLE GIANTS OF THE OCEAN IS A SOUL STIRRING EXPERIENCE!!!! Our skipper/owner/permit holder, Danie Bennett, is there to answer any questions that you may have, he has a treasure house of knowledge as to the HUMPBACK and other MARINE MAMMALS and their habits.
You may also see a variety of pelagic bird life, a flying fish, sea turtles and dolphins frolicking alongside the bow of the boat. ADVANTAGE CHARTER launches from the beach, which gets the adrenalin pumping as we wait for a gap in the waves, and on the return we surf those same waves to ride up onto the beach.EXHILARATING!!!!!
